Ellery", 8 size, 7 jewels, stem wind and lever set gilt plate movement with lever escapement and cut bimetallic balance, in a 14 karat, yellow gold, reeded edge, engine turned and engraved hunting case with monogram on front cover, Roman numeral, single sunk white enamel dial, blued steel spade hands, serial #1834676, 62.8g TW, c1880.
CONDITION:
CASE: Minor dents; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Fine scratches on inner surface of case; Minor gap at back and band when closed; One hinge plug absent; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: A few faint hairlines in enamel. HANDS: Oxidation, end of minute. MOVEMENT PLATES: Fine scratches on plate. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) .
